First!

This is my very first Wix blog post. It was created without the use of AI, and I'm very proud of it.

Honestly, I don't know what to say! It's just such an honor to be able to be sat here doing this to begin with.

If you had told me even three years ago that I'd be learning about User Experience Design and looking at a bright future in the IT field, I would have told you that you were joking.

I went from a house-spouse to a call-center worker to getting my CompTIA A+ and trying to break into the IT field all within the span of about three weeks, back in 2023, and now here we are two years later and I'm learning about UX Design and contemplating a career in making utilities easier to use by the average person.

Did you know you can get paid for making things easy to use? I didn't.

Now here I am learning the basic principles of Design and applying them in my day-to-day life, utilizing my training as a writer and as a customer service agent to come up with the easiest navigation tools and interfaces I can come up with.

What a blessing.

I have a few other projects I'm working on simultaneously, and it feels good to be creative again. When you're smashed by the daily demands of living in this economy, it's nice to be able to apply yourself creatively to a task that will make others' lives easier.
